Session 02: SUSTAINABLE ENERGY
As all of us urgently continue our individual and collective aggressive efforts to significantly reduce the serious detrimental impacts of global climate change and associated green house gas emissions, Sustainable Energy has been and will remain a dominant implementable strategy - locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Among the major components of this effective and successful strategy are Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, Clean/Green Technologies, Innovative/Creative Energy Conservation Mechanisms, Public/Private Partnerships, Lead-by-Example Best Practices, Replicable Case Studies/Success Stories/Models, and Realistic/Practical Government, Industry, Academic Sustainable Energy Strategic Plans/Program/Projects at all sectors of the economy.
The purpose and objective of this session, therefore, is to provide critical contemporary information and associated action items on Sustainable Energy from around the world, delivered by some of the recognized leaders of the energy profession, hopefully culminating in valuable dialog, discussion, and next steps by the Conference Participants, Delegates, Invited Speakers and Decision Makers. It is further anticipated by the Conference Organizers that the Results & Outcomes from this Sustainable Energy session would benefit many more countries and their citizens as they dedicate the limited resources, technologies, and expertise towards adapting & mitigating climate change impacts.
