Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Aberdeen Treetops at 161 Springfield Gardens, Aberdeen
Working Hours:4-6 hours, Rate: £8per/hour

The vacancy is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident individual who wishes to expand upon their knowledge across a wide range of skills and expertise. The individual will become involved within all aspects of events management, gaining invaluable experience from industry professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be on hand to support the Event Manager
- Assist in the coordination of the NSCJ events
- Support the Marketing team with social media on the day
- Assist with gathering data during the event
- Ensuring visitors are aware of event programming information during the day
- Handing out promotional materials throughout the event
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required by the Event Manager
Person Specification
Essential
- Customer Service Skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Ability to think proactively and be calm in sometimes hectic situations
- Good administrative and IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Creativity and ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent team player
- A pro-active and can-do attitude, even when working under pressure
Desirable
- Experienced in assisting with the planning and organisation of events
- Capable at engaging with and communicating to a variety audience through social media
- Experienced in video recording during interview (camera will be provided by NSCJ).
Office Assistant
Positions:Office Assistant

Work days: Monday, Wednesday Friday, or Monday, Tuesday, Friday
Rate: £8-10per/hour
Working hours: 18-20 hours per week, weekend work needs to be agreed with line manager.
Location: 2 Charlestown Walk, Cove, Aberdeen, Ab12 3ez or home based occupational
Qualitifications:
- Work experience in an administrative role
- Experience of providing a customer focused service
- Good phone, writing and bookkeeping skills
- Information research and management skills
- A full UK driving licence
Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the conference chair and director on promoting events.
- To work with the director of NSCJ and outside design agencies to co-ordinate the design, production and distribution of print and online materials for the promotion of programmes and events;
- To act as an ambassador for the NSCJ in all dealings with external bodies;
- All other duality will be signed by the line manager.
Who can apply the job above?
