Biography

Professor Crabtree is the Director of the Joint Center for Energy Storage Research, Argonne National Laboratory; a Senior Scientist, Distinguished Fellow and Associate Division Director of Materials Science Division, Argonne National Laboratory; and a Professor of Physics, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA.

Professor Crabtree is a Member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. He delivered the Plenary Closing Lecture "JCESR: A New Paradigm for Battery Research" (Lecture Abstract), at the 1st International Symposium on Energy Challenges and Mechanics.
