Session 07: ENERGY FUTURE

The huge energy sector of the economy is in fundamental transition. The finite conventional fossil fuels are under scrutiny because of their negative environmental impacts and social cost. Nuclear power might be prohibited because of its disastrous radioactive contaminations endangering life on Earth for future generations. Transport is revolutionized by new fuels, hybrid and much more efficient electric drives. Buildings become energy self-sufficient. In this session solutions and new energy policies will be discussed.
